
Meditation
Osho Leela is not a traditional meditation centre with compulsory daily practices.
We do, however, have weeks when all the community takes part in daily meditations
and we put on weekend workshops and retreats to introduce people to Osho Meditations,
Humaniversity Meditations, "Who Is In"-type intensives, Ratu Bagus Shaking
Meditation, and related work.
All of these are quite active meditations, as opposed to silent sitting, and
we are the leading centre in the UK offering this kind of work. All the people offering
meditations at Osho Leela are highly trained and all senior members of the community
are very experienced in leading meditations and holding the space. We appreciate that
feelings and vulnerabilities can often rise during active meditations and we are here
to support the individual.

Osho Active Meditations
Osho was an Indian mystic who made a revolutionary contribution to the science of
inner transformation and an approach to meditation which specifically addresses
the accelerated pace of contemporary life. The unique Osho Active Meditations are
designed to allow the release of accumulated stress in the body and mind so that it
is easier to be still and experience the thought-free state of meditation.The

Social Meditation
The concept of 'Social Meditation' was developed by Swami Anand Veeresh.
Traditionally meditation is practised alone and with closed eyes. Social meditation
is practised together with other people, and only partly with closed eyes.
The most famous Social Meditation is the Humaniversity AUM meditation.
This is a 2.5 hour process in which you learn to master your emotions by expressing
different states of mind, moving from one polarity to the other. The Aum is based
on the understanding that in order to be silent, the western mind first needs
to get rid of tension and stress.

has brought to us are:

Ratu Bagus Bio-Energy Shaking Meditation
Shaking Meditation is a spiritual practice to literally 'shake out' and release
physical, energetic, emotional and mental blocks and so connect strongly to our
Soul, to our Divinity, our pure and shining I AM presence. Many have been inspired
and uplifted by this practice, others have been healed of all types of dis-ease by
allowing divine Energy or pure life force to move and shake the body in this easy
and joyful way.
This practice is taught by Ratu Bagus, a living Balinese enlightened Master with a
mission to bring more light, love, laughter, healing and pure heart-inspired
leadership into the world. It is accessible to anyone, of any age or physical
condition. Since 2007 regular shaking retreats have been held here at Osho Leela
by Ratu students.
