Programmes and Events

Osho Leela is a special place. As well as being a thriving residential community of around 30 people, including children, we offer a wide variety of programmes for everyone of any age.

Let's start with the Community Experience Weekends. We began these weekends over ten years ago. If you have never been to Osho Leela, these weekends are a great way to find out about our amazing community. We invite you to become a community member, albeit for the weekend only, and to join in the meditations, the parties, the walks, the hanging out and of course the work (which by the way is quite unlike working anywhere else). We usually have an AUM meditation on Sunday morning (which is optional and is explained elsewhere on the site). The food is delicious and the price is a snip at £55, including all food and accommodation.

Then there are Singles weekends – intimate, juicy weekends with like-minded people, getting to know each other in a warm supportive atmosphere.

We also offer many workshops during the year in healing, massage, yoga, dance, comedy, theatre and life-coaching skills. And every week we have enquiries from breath workers, energy specialists, rebirthers and even belly dancers wanting to share their gifts with us.

A big hit of recent years are our Puravida Weekenders, run by Amira and Rakendra. Puravida weekends are "conscious clubbing" extravaganzas. We recreate the energy of a festival or nightclub, but give it a softer feel...with lots of hugging! There are workshops and meditations throughout the day and bands and DJs playing through til around 4am.

Which leads us on to the Festivals. We host four major festivals a year, at New Year, Easter, the bank holiday weekend at the end of May and, during August, the Month in Paradise. These are the times when we really let our hair down. We invite workshop leaders and musicians from the UK and Europe to come and do their thing with us. These festivals are memorable occasions combining party and alternative events with our unique Leela intimacy which we have developed and perfected over the ten years of our existence. During these times if you have any inclination to celebrate with others Leela is the place to be – and children are more than welcome.

And last but, by no means least, we offer our inspirational Humaniversity Training Programme and Nine Month Personal Education Course. Now in their 13th year, these two programmes are for all who are looking for real and lasting change in their lives. They are intense, powerful and wide ranging in their scope and they have brought personal transformation already to many thousands of people worldwide.
